By working together the Forum can put the health and wellbeing of rural communities on the national agenda:

• Advocating on behalf of rural communities
• Influencing policy makers
• Raising awareness of resourcing issues for rural health
• Promoting innovation and good practice
• Promoting partnerships in rural health work
• Providing information on rural health issues
• Responding to consultations on health, rural and social care issues.
