Emotional and Mental Health Promotion has been identified as an area of priority and each Local Authority area is required to produce a local Emotional and Mental Health Promotion action plan. This day will be the start of the action planning process to produce this plan
During the day attendees from a wide range of statutory and voluntary organisations within Ceredigion will:
- be given an introduction to Emotional and Mental Health Promotion - what is it? What has it got to do with me and my organisation?
- have an opportunity to map initiatives and projects which already exist within Ceredigion that aim to enhance people's mental health
- identify gaps in the provision of emotional and mental health promotion and prioritise issues
- identify key partners who will form part of a task and finish group to write the draft Ceredigion Emotional and Mental Health Promotion Action Plan
