Research Strategy 2003 to 2008
Over the years, the IRH has developed a broad programme of research across rural health issues and has built up a track record of obtaining funding from a wide variety of agencies, including the Department of Health, Welsh Assembly Government, Defra, Health & Safety Executive, The Countryside Agency, and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
The IRH research programme aims to produce high quality research covering a range of issues connected with rural health, and to disseminate results effectively so that policy makers are informed of findings as they arise.
